MAUREEN KURTZ: basically same age as her cousin, Mark; Maureen is quietly aggrieved, hates the people she's around in kurtzville for good reasons; is happy mark has returned and will do just about anything for him.
DENNIS MACPHERSON: black guy, anywhere from 25-50 really; he's an outsider who came to kurtzville looking for his brother. Dennis is angry, lost and sane.
character/ supporting parts:
"Joe": Robertas Regular who calls Mark Davidson a coward and then wishes he hadn't; provides a good clue while in the throes of an epileptic seizure....
Gas Station Kid: a part with more importance than might meet the eye... good character part if you like wearing gore makeup; could be a young woman....
Ms. Kurtz: proprietor of the L&M Motel
Toad Creek Bartender: 'nuff said; decent little bartender part
Johnny (or Janey) Binder: Gacy's newsboy or girl Victim
Father Gacy: if you ever wanted to play a not so bright take off of Peter Lorre's character from "M" meets the real John Wayne Gacy; pretty cool murderous weirdo part....
Ernie Binder: Eugene Kurtz's lawyer; a weak "fixer" character; a fair number of lines and integral part of movie's conclusion......
Lloyd: Kurtzville Sheriff; weaker part; good death scene and some lines for sure....
GRENDEN: think John Huston from Chinatown who would be at home in Return of the Living Dead screaming, "...brains!" Grenden pretty much is the conclusion; probably not a part for the squeamish.....
3 Small Town Clowns: these are the small town guys you'll meet in a small town tavern who just can't wait to beat some outsider to death.
Jen: small town trailer park girl; Ray's girlfriend
Angstadt: Kurtzville junkyard owner; provides a lot of exposition in the form of a folk/ myth tale told; this is probably a really good 5 minute type of part....
Ray MacPherson: by the time we get to Ray, he's dead but he crawls around a little as a headless dead guy and does some talking on a reel to reel, maybe a great part for a voice actor.
